Welcome to Lough Corrib Fly Fishing at The Fishing Lodge.  The Fishing Lodge is situated in Clydagh on the east shore of Lough Corrib, Co Galway.  Whether it's just a short weekend refresh or an extended stay the peaceful surroundings of The Fishing Lodge are sure to leave you inspired and revitalised.

The fishing boat
The Fishing Lodge has direct access to Lough Corrib, home of some of the best wild brown trout fishing in Europe.  With its own private boat jetty it is ideally placed as a destination for anglers and specialises in providing fly fishing holidays but the beautiful scenery would also appeal to those looking for a base from which to pursue other activities or explore this wonderful part of Ireland.

The atmosphere at The Fishing Lodge is relaxed, friendly and informal.  Since acquiring The Fishing Lodge the owners, Paul and Mary Miller have extended the house and fully renovated the interior to provide warm, comfortable accommodation

The garden has been carefully cultivated to provide the delicious, seasonal vegetables that grace the dining table and a pair of laying hens provide fresh eggs for the breakfast table. Although The Fishing Lodge is only twelve miles from Galway City and five miles from the town of Headford it stands in an area of outstanding tranquillity and can only be accessed via a neighbouring farm (yes, that does mean a couple of farm gates) or from the lake itself.

For more details of what The Fishing Lodge can offer the visitor to this part of Galway please contact Paul and Mary with details of your requirements, they would be delighted to take your enquiry and plan your trip with you.
